I am currently working as a behavioral therapist in Dubai, UAE, and I work with children who have social and developmental delays in their daily life. I have previous experience working with refugees, asylum seekers, and mental issues such as depression, PTSD, anxiety, and phobias. I have completed my Master's in Clinical Applications of Psychology from Kingston University, London as well as my BSc in Joint Hons Biology & Psychology from Newcastle University, UK. I conducted two research projects on topics namely comorbidity of depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD and also, the effect of BKRM mindfulness meditation on anxiety, short-term memory, and attention span. I hope to gain experience and insight on how psychology & mental health has been established in the Middle East and work towards creating a concrete system that allows individuals to approach mental health care with a de-stigmatized mindset.

Psycho-educational testing is part of my intervention, which also includes helping learners develop strategies to cope with the demands of the curriculum they are studying.
