Learning outcomes - This course ensures to: 

  • Identify the benefits of a mindfulness approach to your healthcare practice in Dubai
  • Utilize mindfulness as a means of engaging with and delivering on the objectives of your own and your patient’s wellbeing.
  • Equip practitioners with the knowledge and skills to practice mindfulness
  • Create opportunities to help practitioners to assist their patients
  • Structure session plans and utilize every to integrate with emotional literacy
  • Teach a range of methods for counteracting the stress response in the body through the experience of relaxation using techniques such as mindfulness.
  • Review and score one’s own practitioner practice in SPHE’ as part of the process.
  • Understand the neurological impact and benefit of mindfulness on the practitioner’s wellbeing and compassion fatigue.
  • Learn about leading edge technology that can be used to measure the brain via a smartphone in real-time.

 

Modules:

01 - What is mindfulness? We explore mindfulness in detail, we identify and itemize its benefits and its essential qualities. 

02 - Mindfulness into healthcare: The role of mindfulness in education and the powerful impact it can have within the objectives of the healthcare practitioner’s areas of expertise.  How mindfulness can help us with personal & professional development

03 – Practitioner mindfulness: To ensure health, we must be practitioners. The series of mindfulness exercises and lessons are taught in this session. 

04 -  Happiness: Exploring the state of happiness, and the neuro-chemistry behind it and how mindfulness can help improve and sustain authentic happiness.

 

05 - Managing and dealing with stress: How we can cope with stress and show patients how to cope with the help of mindfulness. 

 

06 -  The Neuroscience of Mindfulness: Exploring how mindfulness helps improve and sustain resilience to ensure relief from compassion fatigue for the practitioner

07 - Dealing with stress: As per the Harvard Medical School presentation by Prof. Kennedy - Now and Zen, learn how mindfulness changes brains and improves health.

 

 

Within this highly interactive CPD course, a dynamic learning experience awaits. You’ll interact with your participants, communicate with a Thai monk and a professor of neuroscience, to learn superb tools for your practice and your own wellbeing.  These friendly and knowledgeable educators will support each person, providing interaction, guidance and feedback for all for critical and emotional reflection.
