Dr. Mousa is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director of Wise Mind Psychotherapy Center in Dubai. She has been in the mental health field for over 14 years. Dr. Mousa graduated with her doctorate degree from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, USA. She has international experience working in the U.S., Kuwait, and in the UAE. She utilizes an integrative approach but focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (E/RP) for the treatment of Anxiety Spectrum Disorders.
Received her bachelors degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from the University of Southern California and her graduate degree in Psychology from New York University. Her research experience and interests fall in the realm of neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience and psychology. Currently she is working as the Research Coordinator at the Applied Behavior Center of Kuwait (ABC).
Certificated Mindfulness Psychotherapist from the UK. I follow an integrative approach with particular interest in Mindfulness, the imagination and Arts Therapy. I hold a Diploma in the Integrative Application of the Arts, a Masters from the University of Warwick and a certificate in Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy from the University of Middlesex. I am currently seeking a counseling or psychotherapy placement in Kuwait.
I am LaQuisha Nelson and I native Texan from the United States. This is my first year in Kuwait as a Middle School Counselor at Dasman Bilingual School. This has been an amazing experience thus far. I am a graduate of Paririe View A & M University with my Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Counseling. I have been in education since 2010 and in counseling since 2014. I am a certified Life Coach and Positive Enthusiast! Mental health, wellness, and self care are my passions. I am excited to join MEPA and embark on the amazing opportunities ahead.
