I was born and raised in Kuwait, and had been interested in psychology my whole life. I received my BS in psychology, minoring in behavioral neuroscience from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. I am now currently enrolled in an MSc program in psychoanalytic developmental psychology at the Anna Freud center, ran in conjunction with University College London. I am extremely motivated to try to increase awareness of psychology in the Middle East and try to make an impact in any way possible.
I have done my Graduation and Masters in Psychology with specialization in Clinical, Industrial and Social Psychology. I am a certified CBT practitioner from the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology, UK and have also gained certification as a Behavioral Trainer and accredited practitioner in Thomas Personality Profiling. Even with 15 years of counselling experience with adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, fear, psychometric assessments, mindfulness training and hypnotherapy, I prefer to call myself more as a “Nurturer†of my clients, one who enables them to bloom their potentials and overcome obstacles of their lives. Being a member of MEPA, I constantly look forward to contribute my best to the society.
An extremely passionate studious individual interested in human development and relationships. my first book I finished as a child was 'Down shifting of the brain' I was just twelve, and twenty-two years later after a turbulent journey through finishing school, a Bsc and Msc has not yet satisfied my understanding of the beautiful mind of a human which can not be located in the human body is extraordinary intriguing.
